These are heady times for East Valley barbecue fans, who are enjoying a spate of recent openings, including Word of Mouth in Tempe, Dickey’s in Queen Creek, and, just this week, Naked BBQ in Chandler.
Now, there’s a new Chandler-based barbecue food truck: WoodBarn BBQ.
The food truck uses almond, olive, and mesquite to smoke brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and turkey. Sandwiches are $8-$9 and platters mostly are $9-$10.
You can check out WoodBarn BBQ from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. today through Saturday at the Rush Auto car lot on the east side of Arizona Avenue, about a quarter-mile south of Ray, in Chandler.
