Tucked Away Craft Kitchen & Bar, a new concept from the owners Tipsy Cactus TapRoom, celebrates its grand opening today in the Safeway plaza on the northeast corner of Val Vista and Southern in east Mesa.
Sean Hayes and Jo Ann Franko, the couple who launched Tipsy Cactus in southwest Mesa in 2016, are partnering with Taste of New Mexico food truck chef Gabe Madrid (pictured).
The small restaurant and bar originally was to be called Share Craft Kitchen & Bar. The name was changed for legal reasons.
Tucked Away’s menu features shareable New American dishes. (See lunch and dinner menus)
The bar offers craft cocktails and a dozen craft beers on tap.
Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Closed Monday.
