Farmboy Market, Meats & Sandwiches will host a kid-friendly Great Food with the Family dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7.
All dishes will be prepared with local dairy, meats, grains, and produce. Attendees will learn about high-quality food from local farmers and producers.
The menu:
- 1st course: Superstition Farms honey butter & Farmboy biscuits, Crooked Sky Farms veggie chili (beef burnt ends optional), and late harvest greens salad with apple cider vinaigrette;
- 2nd course: Family-style barbecue (with Udder Delights watermelon sorbet intermezzo) featuring Wilson Farms pulled pork, Arizona Grass Raised chopped beef, slaw, cucumber-tomato salad, mac & cheese, Mrs. Klein’s Pickles, long-fermentation heritage grain sourdough rolls; heritage grain tortillas, and housemade BBQ sauce;
- 3rd course: Root beer or cherry cream floats.
Each family also will receive DNA Chocolate made in Chandler.
