Chicago-based steakhouse Maple & Ash opening Aug. 20 in Scottsdale

Maple & Ash, the Chicago-based steakhouse coming to the Waterfront on the southwest corner of Scottsdale and Camelback in Scottsdale, has announced it will open Tuesday, Aug. 20.

The award-winning Chicago original is helmed by chef Danny Grant, who formerly lived in Scottsdale.

Grant will collaborate with chef Sean Currid on the Scottsdale location. The pair previously worked together at Elements at Sanctuary on Camelback.

The 10,000-square-foot-plus space will feature a 14-foot wood-burning hearth and a spacious outdoor dining deck.

Maple & Ashwill be open 5-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
