Serrano’s special of the month: Billy’s Burrito Bowl

Billy’s Burrito Bowl is the new special of the month for August at Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants.

The dish (pictured) features steak or pollo asada, rice, pinto beans, tomatillo sauce, cheese, lettuce, and Sriracha mayo on a crispy tortilla shell.

The price is $10.99.

Daily lunch specials for August (all $8.99, which includes a soft drink) are:

• Monday: Shredded pork enchilada topped with tomatillo sauce and black beans;
• Tuesday: Chile relleno burro with rice;
• Wednesday: Lunch-size red or green chimichanga with sour cream and guac;
• Thursday: Lunch-size red or green Mexican pizza;
• Friday: Spinach enchilada with fundido sauce and rice;
• Saturday: Manager’s choice (varies per location)
