California-based chicken chain The Buffalo Spot opens in Gilbert

By Jess Harter Monday, August 12, 2019

California-based chicken concept The Buffalo Spot has opened its second East Valley restaurant on the southeast corner of Val Vista and Williams Field in Gilbert.

It takes over the former Bush’s Chicken, which closed in July 2018. The building has a drive-through, a first for chain.

The Buffalo Spot’s signature menu item is its ‘‘world-famous’’ Buffalo Fries – french fries covered with boneless Buffalo chicken pieces (pictured).

Wings (traditional or boneless), tenders, and chicken burritos come with a choice of 14 sauces. The menu also includes breadsticks and salads.

The 6-year-old chain made its Arizona debut in Phoenix in 2017 and now has six Arizona locations.
