Burros & Bowls, a fast-casual Mexican eatery that opened in downtown Mesa in May to rave reviews, has closed after less than three months.
It becomes the latest in a growing list of restaurants that have failed in the former Taco Bell building on Country Club just north of Main.
Other closures in the last few years include 5 Star BBQ, SuperBurrito, La Palapa, and Sodalicious.
Burros & Bowls featured more than 20 burritos and eight kinds of loaded fries, as well as tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and nachos.
