By Jess Harter Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Toh Zan Nagasaki Grill, a family-run Japanese restaurant on the northwest corner of Dobson and Southern in west Mesa, is closing after 36 years.

Owners Yoshito and Yuko Eguchi made the announcement on Facebook:

We are very saddened to announce that we have to close this restaurant after 35 years. Our last day of operation here will be during the week August 19th.

Please share this with our other diners. We would love to see you before then. We have plans to reopen but the date and location is TBD. Please check this Facebook page for updates.

Thank you for your patronage,

Yoshi and Yuko

A followup post corrected the restaurant’s tenure to 36 years and pushed back its last day to Wednesday, Aug. 28.
