Mother Road Brewing has announced Limited Visibility, a limited-edition hazy IPA, will be the featured beer at a banh mi and beer pairing at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Farmboy Market, Meats and Sandwiches in south Chandler.
The event will feature three craft beers from Flagstaff brewery Mother Road paired with Vietnamese-inspired dishes made with locally sourced, pecan-smoked meats, grains, cheese, and vegetables:
- 1st course: Pho (beef bone broth with cinnamon, anise, onion, ginger, basil, jalapeno, lime, hoisin, sriracha, and shaved smoked ribeye made with ingredients from Mount Hope Spices and AZ Grass Raised Beef) paired with Mother Road Kolsch Style Ale;
- 2nd course: Banh mi (shredded pork with scallion, cucumbers, pickled carrots, and daikon with honey-citrus vinaigrette; curry chicken with onion, coconut milk dressing, carrots, shredded pickled watermelon rind, cucumber, and cilantro; and beef short rib with lettuce, cucumber, heirloom tomatoes, jalapeno, cilantro, and apple-cider vinaigrette using Arizona vendors Barrio Grains, Crooked Sky Farms, Wilson Farms and The Meat Shop, Top Knot Farms, and AZ Grass Raised Beef) paired with Mother Road Daily Driver Session IPA
- 3rd course: Fruit (fresh seasonal fruit and house-whipped cream featuring Danzeisen Dairy and Green on Purpose) paired with Mother Road Limited Visibility Hazy IPA.
