The owners of Baltaire, the world-class steakhouse in west Los Angeles, will launch a new concept, Flint by Baltaire, at the Esplanade on the southeast corner of 24th Street and Camelback in Phoenix.
Led by Baltaire executive chef Travis Strickland and Flint executive chef Chris Mayo, most recently of Sumo Maya, Flint will offer wood-fired seasonal cuisine.
It will be the Alliance Hospitality Group’s second foray into Arizona. It opened casual cafe Comoncy, another of its concepts, at the Galleria in Scottsdale in 2016. (Another Comoncy in Old Town Scottsdale closed last year.)
A hiring fair will be held Aug. 26-29 at the restaurant. Flint by Baltaire is scheduled to open in October.
