Aug. 29: ‘Taste of Romeo’s’ dinner at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert

Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert will hold its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus (pictured) and his wife, Janice, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27.

The dinners feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s selections:

  • Romeo’s Choice Skins: Italian sausage, onions, peppers, and mushrooms with melted provolone;
  • Corinthian Salad: Grilled chicken breast, mixed greens, veggies, feta cheese, and Italian dressing;
  • Chicken Veneto: Chicken breast, whole black peppercorns, and capers in Marsala cream sauce;
  • Ravioli Marco Polo: Cheese ravioli and meat sauce with Italian sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella;
  • Major Chocolate cake

Cost is $30 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
