Sunbar – a nightclub, organic eatery, patio garden, and live-music venue – is coming to Fifth Street, just west of Mill, in downtown Tempe at the end of September.
It’s taking over the two-story building, on the north side of the street, that formerly housed Trails on the ground floor and offices on the upper floor.
The concept will feature multiple bars, a taproom with 45 beers on draft, a small convenience store, and a huge patio.
An organic grill will offer a healthy menu, including options for vegans and vegetarians.
Sunbar is the fourth downtown Tempe nightspot from the group that also owns Shady Park, CASA, and Charlie Trumbull’s.
