Back in June, MXSW broke the news that Mr Brews Taphouse, a Wisconsin-based chain of burger-and-beer eateries, would be making its Arizona debut on the southwest corner of Alma School and Germann in south Chandler.
It officially opens today in the strip-mall space that formerly was home to the Chandler Gourmet Deli, which closed in late April.
All 24 taps are dedicated to craft beers, although a few domestics like Bud, Coors, and PBR are available in cans.
Nine burgers – including a jalapeño popper burger, a Cajun burger, and peanut butter and bacon burger – highlight the food menu.
A lunch special features any burger with fries or chips and a soda for $7.99 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays.
Mr Brews Taphouse is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. The kitchen closes at 9 p.m.
