Village Inn closes 2 locations in Mesa, 8 locations remain in E.V.

Village Inn has closed two of its Mesa locations – on the northeast corner of Stapley and Baseline and the southeast corner of Power and Main.

“After very careful consideration, we have made the tough but necessary decision to discontinue operations at (these locations),” a spokesman for the Nashville-based chain says.

“This is never an easy decision to make and one driven by many business factors.’’

Village Inn still has 18 locations in Arizona, including eight in the East Valley.
