Sauce Pizza & Wine, a Valley-based fast-casual chain, opens its fourth East Valley location today near the northeast corner of Mill and University in downtown Tempe.
Besides its signature 12-inch pizzas, Sauce’s menu offers pastas, paninis, and salads.
Valley restaurateur Sam Fox launched the concept and grew it to nine locations before selling it to a local group headed by RA Sushi co-founder Scott Kilpatrick in 2015.
The Tempe location will be the chain’s 17th in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony with Tempe officials will be held next Friday, Oct. 18.
