Scottsdale’s Daily Dose to open location next to Tempe Marketplace

By Jess Harter Wednesday, October 16, 2019

Daily Dose, one of my favorite Old Town Scottsdale breakfast and lunch restaurants, is coming to the East Valley.

Daily Dose Rio Salado will join the new Spinato’s Pizza on the northwest corner of Rio Salado and Rockford next to Tempe Marketplace.

Shortly before Matt and JenLyn Long closed their well-reviewed Fusion Restaurant & Lounge in Old Town in 2009, they launched Daily Dose on Scottsdale Road just south of Indian School.

The couple – he’s the chef, she runs the front of the house – added Daily Dose Midtown on the northeast corner of the Piestewa Freeway and Highland in Phoenix in 2012.

The breakfast menu features creative dishes like Smores pancakes, maple almond crunch French toast, pigs in a bagel, and nine kinds of eggs Benedict.

For lunch, there’s salads, sandwiches, wraps, and the signature Daily Dose Burger (pictured) with cheddar and jack cheese, peppered bacon, fresh basil, onions, tomato, and a harissa aioli.

No opening date has been announced yet.
