The Screamery, a Tucson-based ice cream concept, has opened its first East Valley store at Overstreet on the southwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard in downtown Chandler.
Arizona’s first ice cream pasteurizer makes its ice creams from scratch with all-natural ingredients and milk from grass-fed cows.
Ice cream comes in an ever-changing selection of 24 flavors such as:
- Orange Screamcicle: Fresh oranges infused in a sweet cream base;
- Bourbon Brittle: Maker’s Mark bourbon-infused base mixed with pecan brittle;
- Bees Knees: A lavender and sweet cream base mixed with a fresh honey swirl;
- Rough At Sea: A sea salt base with honey-butterscotch swirl and candied pecans, almonds, and pistachios;
- Cowboy Cookie: Salted caramel base with oatmeal, walnuts, and chocolate chip cookies.
Cones are $4.95 for a single scoop or $6.95 for a double scoop. Pints are $10.75.
Other menu items: ice cream flights ($7.50 for six samples, pictured), banana splits ($7.50), ice cream nachos ($6), milkshakes ($7), and floats ($7).
The Screamery debuted in Tucson in 2014. Current locations include five stores in Tucson and one in Paradise Valley.
The Chandler hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
