The Porch neighborhood gastropub to open 2nd location in south Tempe

By Jess Harter Wednesday, October 23, 2019

Just yesterday, I wrote about Local Edition, a new concept coming to downtown Gilbert from the owners of The Porch neighborhood gastropub in Arcadia.

It turns out the East Valley also is getting a second location of The Porch.

John Dolan, who heads the restaurant group that owns The Porch and is a partner in The Bevvy gastropub in Old Town Scottsdale, has applied for a liquor license for a Porch in south Tempe.

It’ll be located near the northwest corner of Baseline and Lakeshore, right between Scramble and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

The Porch Arcadia opened in November 2017 on the southeast corner of 40th Street and Indian School.

Its casual pub menu focuses on salads, rice bowls, sandwiches, and burgers. There are 19 beers on tap and 18 specialty cocktails.

No opening date for The Porch Tempe has been announced.
