Kind Hospitality to open pair of Macayo’s Mexican Kitchens in East Valley

By Jess Harter Wednesday, November 6, 2019

It look like the East Valley is getting a couple new Macayo’s Mexican Kitchen restaurants.

Mesa-based Kind Hospitality, which launches and runs licensed restaurant locations like OHSO Brewery at Sky Harbor and Barrio Brewing near Mesa Gateway Airport, has applied for liquor licenses for a pair of new Macayo’s:

  • In the former Denny’s building on the southwest corner of Scottsdale and the Loop 202 in Tempe;
  • In the former Bonefish Grill on the southeast corner of Superstition Springs and U.S. 60 in east Mesa.

Macayo’s, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in the Valley in 2015, currently has eight locations, including three in the East Valley.
