PK Shabu & Grill in Mesa offers individual hot pots for shabu-shabu diners

PK Shabu & Grill, an all-you-can-eat hot pot restaurant, has opened in the strip mall in front of the AZ International Marketplace on the northeast corner of Dobson and Broadway in west Mesa.

It’s the East Valley’s second shabu-shabu eatery to open in 13 months. Jin Shabu debuted in the Lee Lee International Supermarket plaza on the northeast corner of Dobson and Warner in Chandler in October 2018.

Shabu-shabu: At PK Shabu & Grill, diners get their own individual hot pots, choosing from six broths – house, pork, sukiyaki, miso, spicy, or vegetarian.

They then select from an array of meats (from an in-house butcher shop), seafood, and vegetables at a huge self-serve buffet. There also is a sauce bar.

When finished choosing all their ingredients, diners return to their table to cook their hot pots.

Alcohol: Beer, soju, and sake are available.

Cost: $19.99 for lunch, $29.99 for dinner, $19.99 for vegetarians, and $16.99 for children under 10.
