Texas-based Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will open its third East Valley location on Wednesday, Nov. 27, on the southwest corner of Power and Ray in southeast Gilbert.
The chain of dine-in movie theaters made its Arizona debut with a nine-screen complex in south Chandler in 2016 and added a six-screen complex in south Tempe in 2018.
The Gilbert Alamo will have eight auditoriums with all-reserved seating and in-theater food and beverage service, as well as a standalone lobby bar offering more than 30 local and regional craft beers.
Food and non-alcoholic beverage discounts will be offered through Monday, Dec. 2, but there only will be limited showtimes during that period.
