Caketini, a custom cake shop offering cakes, cupcakes, and truffles, is closing after nine years at SanTan Village shopping center in Gilbert.
The business intends to keep offering custom orders, deliveries, corporate orders, and event catering through its website.
‘‘This was not an easy decision but one that will allow us to expand to serve the greater Phoenix area,’’ owners Cathy and Mike Monoscalco announced.
Their other retail location closed at Scottsdale Fashion Square earlier this year after seven years.
