Poppy, an upscale restaurant at the new Cambria Hotel, opens today in the Roosevelt Row Arts District in downtown Phoenix.
The hotel is located on the northwest corner of Third Street and Portland.
Executive chef Nate Cayer’s ‘‘globally inspired’’ menu features shareable plates such as grilled squash salad, coffee-rubbed lamb lollipops, and beef tartare.
Locally sourced ingredients will be highlighted, including from Noble Bread, Chula Seafood, and Sterling Meats.
Poppy’s hours are 6 a.m.-2 p.m. daily for brunch and 5-10 p.m. daily for dinner.
In addition to Poppy, Cambria Downtown has a rooftop bar that opens at 2 p.m. daily.
