Giordano’s Pizza closes Paradise Valley location after 15 months

By Jess Harter Monday, December 2, 2019

Chicago-based Giordano’s Pizza has closed its Paradise Valley location on the northeast corner of Tatum and Cactus after just 15 months.

Giordano’s arrived in Arizona in 2016 as part of a wave of iconic Chicago pizzerias that also included Lou Malnati’s and Gino’s East.

After making its debut in Peoria, Giordano’s opened a location in Paradise Valley in August 2018.

The P.V. location’s social media accounts still are posting specials, but a voicemail directs callers to the Peoria location.

Gino’s East closed its Arcadia pizzeria – its only one in Arizona – last year. Lou Malnati’s has fared better and is preparing to open its fourth Valley location in Glendale.
