Now open: Pita Jungle in northeast Mesa

By Jess Harter Tuesday, December 10, 2019

Pita Jungle, the local chain of Mediterranean-inspired eateries, opened its 23rd location today in the former Osteria space on the southeast corner of Alta Mesa and McKellips in northeast Mesa.

It’s the third Pita Jungle in Mesa and the third to open in the Valley this year, joining others in Phoenix and Peoria.

Pita Jungle was launched in Tempe in 1994 by former ASU students Nelly Kohsok, Fouad Khodr, and Bassel Osmani.

In addition to its namesake pitas, the menu offers hummus, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and various Mediterranean entrees.

Pita Jungle is open for lunch and dinner daily.
