Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’ dinner – featuring three new food dishes paired with three wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgeable waitstaff:
- Tapas Trio: Worm dates, Gorgonzola cheese, and roasted almonds; whipped feta, agave, black pepper, and fresh herbs; stewed red cabbage and grilled sausage. Paired with 2017 Imagery Estate Winery Chardonnay.
- Lamb Shank: Gigantes beans, roasted vegetables, soft polenta, lamb shank, and pickled peppers sauce. Paired with 2016 La Crema Pinot Noir Sonoma.
- Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding (pictured). Paired with 2016 Conn Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Napa.
