The Cellar Pub, one of the hidden gems of the Valley’s craft beer and wine scene, has closed in downtown Mesa.
The small bar and lounge was nestled among the storage shelves in the basement of Sun Devil Liquors near the northeast corner of Country Club and Second Street.
The bar offered beers on tap and wines by the glasses. Customers also could purchase bottles from the store’s cold cases to drink.
The owners of the store sold their on-site beer and wine license last week, forcing them to close the bar.
