A-burrito, a locally owned quick-service Mexican restaurant, has opened on the southwest corner of Stapley and Main in central Mesa.
The menu offers 10 different 8-inch burritos named for Arizona cities:
- The Phoenix (carne asada)
- The Mesa (char-grilled chicken)
- The Tempe (carne asada and potato)
- The Glendale (al pastor)
- The Tucson (carne asada and al pastor)
- The Pinetop (bean and cheese)
- The Flagstaff (vegetarian)
- The Scottsdale (Schreiner’s chorizo – breakfast burrito)
- The Yuma (carne asada – breakfast burrito)
- The Prescott (vegetarian – breakfast burrito)
The burritos come in combo meals for $7.99-$8.99, which include rice, beans, and a 24-ounce fountain drink.
There also are four children’s combo meals for $3.99-$4.29.
A-burrito is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
