Original Thai Cuisine 2 Go, a locally owned Thai restaurant, has opened on the northwest corner of Dobson and Southern in west Mesa.
It takes over the strip-mall space formerly home to Szechuan Express, which closed last month.
The expansive Thai menu features 44 dishes, including soups, rice bowls, fried rice, curries, and noodles.
The signature dish is the Chef’s Special, made with ground chicken, chili garlic sauce, onions, bell peppers, and basil leaves, and topped with a fried egg ($11.95).
There’s a more streamlined lunch menu – 20 combos, all $8.95, which include soup/salad and an egg roll.
Original Thai Cuisine 2 Go is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Sunday. Closed Monday.
