Iconic Phoenix ice cream shop Mary Coyle Ol’ Fashion Ice Cream has reopened at the Tapestry on Central condominiums on the northwest corner of Central and Encanto.
The business, which has occupied several different locations over its 68 years, closed in April.
The new 1,200-square-foot location, across the street from the Heard Museum, is slightly larger than the previous one at Seventh Street and Bethany Home.
All the ice cream still is made in-house using founder Coyle’s original recipes.
