The long-delayed openings of The Sicilian Butcher and The Sicilian Baker in Chandler finally will happen at 11 a.m. today on the southwest corner of the Loop 101 and Frye.
The Sicilian Butcher offers craft meatballs, house-made pastas, and charcuterie. The Sicilian Baker is an Italian bakery with a build-your-own cannoli bar.
The first 100 people in line at The Sicilian Butcher will receive a $15 gift certificate and a free meatball. The first 100 people at The Sicilian Baker to say “holy cannoli” will receive a free cannoli and a $10 gift certificate.
The businesses, which share a 6,500-square-foot building next Chandler Fashion Center, originally were scheduled to open last December, then in March, then in June, then in October.
The family-run Maggiore Group debuted The Sicilian Butcher in north Phoenix in 2016 and The Sicilian Baker next door earlier this year.
The restaurant group’s other concepts include Hash Kitchen in Chandler.
