After a soft opening on Christmas Eve, Level 1 Arcade Bar in downtown Gilbert holds its official grand opening with prize giveaways and raffles from noon-2 a.m. Friday.
The two-story venue takes over the former Grubstak space that closed in April behind Barrio Queen.
Level 1 offers a rotating selection of 30 arcade games and 10 pinball machines from the owners’ collection of 100-plus games.
An eclectic menu includes Ba-Bombs (fried dough balls filled with ground beef or chicken), pizza pockets, gyro tacos, housemade Pop-Tarts, and other small bites.
In addition, three salads and four kinds of tots are available.
On the bar side, there are 20 specialty cocktails, 20 beers on tap, and three wines by the glass.
Level 1’s hours are 11 a.m.-2 a.m. daily.
