Gadzooks Enchiladas & Soup, the local fast-casual enchilada concept, has opened its fourth Valley location in downtown Chandler.
It shares a small parking lot with The Sleepy Whale craft beer bar and bottle shop on the northwest corner of Arizona and Frye.
Brothers Aaron and Jared Pool debuted Gadzooks in midtown Phoenix in 2013 and added locations in Arcadia in 2016 and Tempe last April.
Besides enchiladas, Gadzooks offers tacos, salads, two soups (tortilla and spicy potato corn chowder), and pumpkin cookies.
Craft beers – including from Wren House Brewing, where a third Pool brother, Drew, is a co-owner) – margaritas, and sangria served.
