Condesa, a new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in downtown Phoenix, has closed just four weeks after opening.
The 12,000-square-foot concept had taken over the former Tom’s Tavern, plus a couple other neighboring spaces, on the northeast corner of First Avenue and Washington.
According to a statement from the Los Angeles-based Legal Restaurants group:
“We are saddened to announce that we were forced to close the doors of Condesa due to a landlord dispute. We are unsure at this time of any re-opening, but myself and the Legal Restaurants team looks forward to potentially coming back to the Phoenix market in the future.”
