Rosa’s Mexican Grill, a popular Mesa restaurant for 29 years, has opened a second location on the northwest corner of Arizona and Elliot in Chandler.
Rosa’s was founded by Dennis and Lizbeth Sirrine in 1991. The couple sold the restaurant to Jim and Karma Gifford in 1999 before opening Rancho de Tia Rosa in northeast Mesa two years later.
Rosa’s serves Baja-style Mexican fare. House specialties include Veracruz chicken (pictured), mole enchiladas, and shrimp burritos with pineapple salsa.
Rosa’s is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. Closed Sunday.
