Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’ dinner – featuring three new food dishes paired with three wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgeable waitstaff:
- Tapas Trio (pictured): Chicken, artichoke, pesto, and prosciutto in puff pastry; smoked and fresh salmon tartare with tobiko; spicy pork belly arepa. Paired with 2018 Barone Fini Valdadige Pinot Grigio (Italy).
- Sonoran Pork Stifado: Stifado -tyle pork tenderloin stew, creamy risotto, Sonoran-style stuffed poblano, jalapeno-garlic lime crema, cilantro. Paired with 2014 Marchesi Antinori Tenuta Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato Bolgheri (Italy).
- Dessert: Chocolate raspberry truffle tart. Paired with 2015 Motto Gung Ho Red Blend (California).
