Cheba Hut, which opened last month in downtown Chandler, will hold its official grand opening celebration Friday.
The national chain of cannabis-themed sandwich shops’ newest location is on the southwest corner of Arizona and Boston.
(Despite the sandwich shop’s theme, no actual cannabis products are used in the food.)
The first 100 people through the doors Friday will get a free ‘‘nug’’ (4-inch) sandwich.
There will a be a ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m., followed by sandwich-eating contest at noon, raffles at 1 and 5, and a butter sculpting contest at 7.
