Gilbert food truck roundup welcomes Pork on a Fork BBQ tonight

One of the Valley’s top barbecue joints – Pork on a Fork in north Phoenix – makes its Gilbert Feastival debut today.

The weekly food truck roundup takes place 5:30-9 p.m. Fridays next to Sam’s Club on the northeast corner of Gilbert and Houston.

Nebraskans Justin Erickson and Wes Hanson began selling preservative- and filler-free pork from the Erickson family pig farm at Valley farmers markets in 2009.

Two years later they moved into a storefront across the road from the Deer Valley airport.

Pork on a Fork unveiled its new food truck about a month ago.
