Opening today: Goldwater Brewing in northeast Mesa

Scottsdale’s Goldwater Brewing officially opens its first satellite location – a taproom in northeast Mesa – at 11 a.m. today.

The 2,200-square-foot taproom is located in the new Longbow Marketplace on the southwest corner of the Loop 202 and Recker.

The 30 taps will pour a number of 4-year-old Goldwater’s beers:

  • Desert Rose cactus ale (5.3% ABV)
  • Hundred Dollar Pils pilsner (4.6%)
  • Not From Around Here black Llager (4.9%)
  • Gimme The Boot hoppy lager (5.1%)
  • GoGo Sour Rangers black ranger (5%)
  • Forgot About J hazy IPA lite (4.8%)
  • Crimson Clouds hazy Southwest IPA (6.5%)
  • DDH Hop Chowda hazy IPA (6.8%)
  • Hop Chowda hazy IPA (6.4%)
  • Hoppy Choice hazy IPA (7.4%)
  • Beyond Stoked West Coast IPA (6%)
  • Birthday Suit West Coast IPA (7.3%)
  • Midnight Menace black IPA (7%)
  • Machine Gun Teddy brown ale (6.7%)
  • Oats M’gotes oatmeal stout (7.3%)
  • Unleaded imperial stout (11.2%)
  • Flannel Buddies 4 Lyfe imperial stout (12%)

The taproom doesn’t have a kitchen, but shares a patio with MOD Pizza. Other eateries within walking distance include In-N-Out Burger, Rumbi Island Grill, Sprouts Deli, and Crumbl Cookie.
