Justin Evans, the guy behind The Sleepy Whale (pictured) in Chandler and The Golden Pineapple soon to open in Tempe, is planning to add another taproom in Gilbert.
The still-unnamed venue will be a 3,000-square-foot space at the Epicenter development that just broke ground on the northwest corner of Higley and Ray.
It will share a patio with Matt’s Big Breakfast. A fall opening is planned.
The Golden Pineapple, which is taking over the former Quartiere building, is expected to open in February.
