World-famous Nobu to open Monday at Scottsdale Fashion Square

Nobu, one of the world’s most famous restaurants, will make its Arizona debut Monday in the luxury wing of Scottsdale Fashion Center.

Namesake founder Nobu Matsuhisa (pictured above) is credited with creating a new style of Japanese cuisine by using new flavors and techniques to make classic dishes.

He partnered with actor Robert De Niro and Meir Teper to open the first Nobu in New York City in 1994. Today, his restaurant empire spans five continents.

“Each location has a unique menu that is influenced by global trends as well as the local scene,” Nobu says. “We look forward to bringing guests the signature dishes they have come to love, along with new dishes exclusive to Nobu Scottsdale.”

The 10,653-square-foot Scottsdale location will open at 5 p.m. and begin serving dinner at 5:30 daily.
