If you’ve perused the lineup for next month’s inaugural Gilbert Pizza Festival, you might wonder why Il Bosco in Old Town Scottsdale is going to be there.
Well, it hasn’t been announced yet, but the fabulous wood-fired pizzeria is preparing to open a second location in southeast Gilbert.
It’s taking over the current Local Eats space on the northwest corner of Higley and Chandler Heights – as soon as a couple details with the lease are worked out.
Il Bosco debuted in 2012 on the northwest corner of Scottsdale and Shea.
Other than a few appetizers and salads, its menu focuses just on pizzas. Beer and wine is served.
