Opening today: Pedal Haus Brewery in downtown Chandler

By Jess Harter Friday, February 21, 2020

Tempe-based Pedal Haus Brewery holds the soft opening of its first satellite location at 4 p.m. today in downtown Chandler.

The new brewpub replaces its former sibling, Las Palmas Cantina, on Boston Street a block west of Arizona Avenue. Las Palmas shut down New Year’s Eve.

At 3,000 square feet, the new location is about half the size of the flagship Pedal Haus, which opened in downtown Tempe in 2015.

Chandler offers the same menu as Tempe with the exception of the original’s pizzas and recently introduced Brewer’s Board.

There are 10 Pedal Haus beers on tap – seven core beers, two seasonal/pilot beers, and one ‘‘charity’’ beer – all brewed in Tempe.

The inaugural charity beer is a limited-release Salted Nut Brown Ale, with proceeds benefitting the Chandler Compadres.

Pedal Haus opens at 4 p.m. during the week and 11 a.m. on weekends.

A grand opening celebration will be held Saturday, March 7.
