Huge props to the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild, the breweries who donated beer and prizes, and everyone who attended Sunday’s fundraiser for local graphic artist Michal Mason’s fight against breast cancer.
The afternoon event at QuartHaus in downtown Chandler raised an amazing $40,000 for Michal, a freelance artist whose work is used by the guild and several Valley breweries.
Michal (pictured above in the black mask with several friends who helped organize the event) has one more chemo session to go before undergoing a mastectomy.
The highlights of the afternoon were several East Valley brewers who shaved their heads or beards for donations.
