Gilbert-based Salad and Go, which gave away more than 12,000 free salads and breakfast burritos to nurses and first responders last week, is doing more giveaways this week.
Drive-throughs at all 15 Salad and Go locations in the Valley will offer a free salad or breakfast burrito to:
- Today: All healthcare workers and first responders;
- Tuesday: Grocery store and retail employees (both currently employed and laid off or with reduced hours due to crisis);\
- Wednesday: Arizona National Guard and active-duty military;
- Thursday: Employees and current volunteers of homeless shelters and food banks;
- Friday: Hospitality workers (hotels, restaurants, and bars – both currently employed and laid off or with reduced hours due to crisis);
- Saturday and Sunday: All healthcare workers and first responders.
Just show a form of identification for your place of work, whether it is a badge, paystub, or uniform.
Get one salad or breakfast burrito for each person present with one of these forms of ID only through the drive-through (not available through online ordering).
