Worth Takeaway, the award-winning sandwich shop in downtown Mesa, is raising money for Valley chefs with its popular Monday Night Supper series.
Every Monday 4 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Worth Takeaway has featured a ‘‘hearty and tasty’’ off-menu item.
Now, with so many in the Valley restaurant scene, Worth Takeaway is inviting guest chefs to participate on Mondays with all sales donated to the chef, their family, their staff, or anyone that they want to give it to.
First up tonight is a chicken pot pie from Donald Hawk (pictured), formerly from Crepe Bar in south Tempe and perhaps best known for his amazing raw bar at The Gladly in Phoenix.
Each week, orders must be placed in advance through Worth Takeaway’s website, and supplies are limited.
In fact, tonight’s pot pies already are sold out, but follow Worth Takeaway on Facebook or Instagram to find out who next Monday’s chef will be.
