Beer and spirits wholesale giant Crescent Crown Distributing is donating a percentage of its April sales – a minimum of $250,000 – to help support Arizona restaurants, bars, and workers.
‘‘So many good people have suffered a loss of wages, struggling to pay their bills,’’ says CCD general manager Joe Cotroneo. ‘‘We want those in need to know that we are here for you.
‘‘Our hope is that other peer organizations will join us in these efforts so we can help as many people as possible.”
CCD, which has distribution centers in Mesa and Surprise, is coordinating its relief aid with the Arizona Restaurant Association and the Arizona Licensed Beverage Association.
