Woodbarn BBQ opens in Queen Creek

East Valley food truck Woodbarn BBQ has opened a bricks-and-mortar restaurant on the southwest corner of Power and Chandler Heights on the Gilbert-Queen Creek border. Father-and-son owners Mark and Skylar Hittle are smoking brisket, pork, sausage, and turkey. Grab some takeout from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday or noon-7 p.m. Friday-Sunday.

Hot Bamboo dim sum to go Saturday

Recently opened Hot Bamboo on the northwest corner of McQueen and Pecos in Chandler is offering $15 dim sum combos – with shumay⁣, ha-gaw, pot stickers, BBQ pork bao, egg rolls, and more – to go Saturday. You have to order by 6 p.m. Friday to pick up between noon-6 p.m. Saturday. Call 480-257-3304.

Pedal Haus Brewery reopens for takeout

Pedal Haus Brewery, which temporarily closed when Arizona’s restaurant restrictions began, is reopening for takeout of food, beer, wine, and cocktails. The flagship location in downtown Tempe reopens at 11:30 a.m. today, while the new downtown Chandler location will reopen at 4 p.m. Thursday.

‘Taste of Romeo’s’ meals to go Thursday

Dining room closures haven’t halted Romeo’s Euro Cafe‘s weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinners on Thursdays. The five-course meals are available to go from 6-7:30 p.m. for $35 from the downtown Gilbert eatery, and you can add a bottle of wine for $10. Call 480-962-4224.
