Goat Shrimp and Sun Flower Beef will be the featured entrees when Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18.
The dinner, hosted by owner-chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, is held in a private dining room with social distancing. The five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu also are available to go.
This week’s selections:
- The Vegan: Black beans, grated carrots, onions, garlic, cremini mushrooms, brown rice, fresh herbs and spices, salsa verde, amd radish salad;
- Kale Panzanella Salad: Cucumbers, tomatoes, red and green onions, red bell peppers, capers, marinated artichoke heart, toasted bread, Dijon vinaigrette, and shredded kale;
- Goat Shrimp: Bacon-wrapped jumbo shrimp with feta and sun-dried tomato stuffing, served with sauteed vegetables;
- Sun Flower Beef: Steak strips, green onions, red peppers, Portobello mushrooms, sunflower seeds, and capers in teriyaki sauce over brown rice.
- Cherry Cordial Tarts: Chocolate tarts with Bing and Amarena cherries.
Cost is $35 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes (or a bottle of wine to go) for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
