The Perch Pub & Brewery in downtown Chandler announced it will close temporarily starting June 29 ‘‘due to the craziness of the COVID-19 virus here in Arizona and the current physical state of the restaurant.’’
The 6-year-old brewpub (pictured in artist rendering) will use the downtime to remodel its popular rooftop patio, tripling its size and adding restrooms.
The ground-level areas will be reopened as soon new support beams are added. The rooftop work isn’t expected to be finished until September at the earliest.
